(Thursday 5th March 2009, Singapore) Defending Champion Lorena Ochoa proved her fine form heading into the HSBC Women's Champions. Following a comprehensive win at Siam Country Club's Old Course, Lorena scored a hole in one at Pebble Beach 7th hole during a private event with HSBC at Urban Fairways on Tuesday night.
The ace is only the third hole in one to be registered at Urban Fairways in almost two years, and is testament to her fine vein of form. Hitting the ball well all night, Lorena won the majority of holes, including bombing a 277 yard long drive at St. Andrew's 18th. Urban Fairways was delighted to welcome the world number one for a second year in a row, for a fun evening of golf on some of the world's best courses.
